My husband and I worked with Tanya Preminger from IHA (Israeli Hospitals) to journey from New Zealand to Israel for CAR-T treatment. Throughout the preparation phase, Tanya demonstrated professionalism and was very prompt in responding to our numerous emails. Car-t cell therapy in China
We had gone to a large hospital in China because we wanted the CAR-T treatment for my mother, who is 65, for her multiple Myeloma. But when we reached there, we found out the hospital was short on blood units. So, we decided it's best to leave and planned to fly to Israel quickly for the same treatment. The journey back was very strenuous, and after landing, my mother's health worsened. She got a lung infection and was admitted to the ICU. Sadly, just a few days later, she passed away. I am sharing our story so that others are more cautious and prepared.
